Story Behind Divine Souls

Divine Souls is a new free-to-play
Action-Fighting MMORPG from Outspark, with unique character classes,
imposing weapons, and non-stop action. To transform into a Divine Soul,
an enlightened one, you must master an impressive array of combos,
skills, and weapons in battle. Partner up with friends to take on Cursed
Souls in a massive multiplayer adventure, or take on your enemies in
high-octane PvP combat. Protect the Divine Matter, or fight to control
it.

Prologue:
The Zeplar Engine changed everything. The discovery of the Divine
Matter made it possible. When Dr. Charles Burke placed a tiny amount of
the shimmering liquid into a small engine, his starship was able to
travel to the ends of the galaxy. We hoped the new technology would
bring a new era of peace and trade between the planets. We were wrong.
The breakthrough of Divine Matter and creation of the Zeplar Engine
turned into something more sinister than we could ever have imagined.
The
great council of Elan Blude, and the Sorcerers of the Four Rings,
sensed an upset in the balance of nature. It quickly became clear that
the hand of Dark magic was involved.
Two days ago, Dr. Burke’s lab in
the city was ransacked, and he and his assistant are nowhere to be
found. The offices were overturned, documents and electronics missing.
The government dispatched a group of elite warriors, known as Polaris,
to investigate. Slasher mercenaries from the Grey Army were sent to
help in the effort. Finally, the Sorcerers of the Four Rings sent their
most powerful Mages to support the investigation as well.

Since the team arrived at the labs of Dr. Burke, the city of Elan Blude
has fallen under attack. Horrible mutants, biological monstrosities
powered by what looks like twisted variations of Dr. Burke’s creations,
are killing citizens in brazen daylight attacks. We need to find the
source of this evil, and how it has penetrated the walls of our city. I
feel there may be a traitor among us.
Elan Blude is not alone.
Mutants are wreaking havoc across the planet. We have lost contact with
our bases outside the city, and the emergency beacons at Fort
Brookshell have fallen silent.
We need help. If we don’t work
together, the entire world will fall to this mutant
Join us, and
learn to harness your abilities. Hone your skills with the chain sword
as a Slasher. Control the forces of nature and become a great Mage. Or
follow in my footsteps and learn to battle and grapple like the
Fighters of Polaris. Help us search for Dr. Burke and make things
right. All of us are fighting for the same thing, to save to ourselves
and the Soul of our planet. The choice is yours.
